System Edström kits out Kia PV5 Cargo for ambassador Felix
System Edström ambassador Felix Lundin (@felkansnickrar) recently received the keys to his brand-new Kia PV5 Cargo. And we’re proud to say that the van has now been fitted out with the last Sytem Edström racking, tailored to meet the everyday needs of an expert carpenter like Felix.
Felix is the carpenter, craftsman and content creator behind one of Sweden’s fastest-growing construction accounts on Instagram. With more than 140,000 followers, he inspires his followers every day with tips, guides and project walkthroughs. His experience as a top skier, and in video production has helped him make his account one of the most successful in its field.
“On my channel you’ll see a bit of everything: inspiration, educational content, lots of outdoor building projects, decks, old houses and everything in between,” Felix says.
Unique possibilities
Alongside his work with us, Felix is also an ambassador for Kia. The new PV5 Cargo is Kia’s first electric van and was recently awarded the 2026 International Van of the Year.
What impresses Felix most about the vehicle is the smart use of space and the generous interior load height. For tradespeople who want double flooring, he says this is invaluable. “Even though the van isn’t that tall, the interior load height is really generous,” he says. “It opens up incredible possibilities. And it’s very easy to drive, with a true passenger-car feel.”
Felix is working on the finishing touches for the mat he chose to install in the van.
Greater flexibility for the working day
The racking was installed by Tjovis at Infra Bilinredning in Sweden. The work began, as usual, with pre-assembly, which also included the installation of a floor mat, inspired by carpenter and System Edström ambassador Emil Ekelund’s (@goodwoodbygg) van setup. After that, the racking was lifted in and mounted in the van.
The new van now features a smaller but smarter interior, says Felix. “I had more shelves than I needed before. Now I have fewer, but they’re more thought-out. And I also have space for larger tools like a table saw and a rip saw. It becomes a more modular van that works whether I’m carrying a lot or just a few tools.”
Another new feature for Felix is the sliding platform. “I hope it will help with ergonomics, especially when reaching tools stored all the way in the back. It’s new to me, and I’m excited to try it.”
A tour of the van set-up
The right side of the van features a pegboard that can be customised with our wide range of accessories, along with a sturdy sliding platform for larger toolboxes and an extended drawer for the tools Felix uses most often.
On the left side, the set-up is complemented by a system of drawers, shelves, a dropfront shelf and additional accessories. In the second side door, there are even more drawers and shelving systems that keep assortment cases securely in place.
Felix is also going to install his vehicle-to-load solution, which allows him to charge batteries directly in the van.
Felix’s set-up in summary:
- Sliding platform with extended drawer underneath for smooth and practical storage.
- Shelving system with a dropfront shelf at floor level to keep everything in place.
- Assortment cases that create structure for screws and small parts, and are easy to bring along to the job site.
- Hooks, pegboard tray and other accessories for flexible mounting and practical storage.
